Happiness Highlights

Last night on twitter I saw Pioneer Woman retweet something about Happiness Highlights and I thought I would share mine today. It's easy to dwell on the negatives and things that are getting us down.....but today I choose the happies!
-So happy that we shared a perfect day yesterday as a family. Starbucks, playground, grocery store, lunch from ABC, good nap for Kinley, family photos on a gorgeous day, playtime in the living room, and few glasses of wine for Mama
-Kinley has recently started telling people (Me, Brad, Grandparents) that she loves us without prompting. I.die. so cute and sweet
-I find myself thanking God for the health of my family a lot lately. Happy we are all healthy(ish) :)
-A warm home. Sure, there are a lot of things we would like to change/update about our house but I am just so thankful we have a house!
-Brad just landed a pretty big account for himself and I am one proud wife!
-And I am also pretty happy about the GF chocolate chip pumpkin bundt cake sitting in my kitchen!

Hold you

Kinley asks me to "hold you" about a million times a day.\She will put her arms up and say "Mommy hold you." As cute as I think it is, after about the 100th time she ask while I am trying to get ready, I just can't pick her up. But I realized that before too long she won't want me to "hold you" anymore. My baby is growing up right before my eyes at lighting speed. So I am just going to soak up all the cuddling and holding while I still can!

Bermuda

Did I ever tell you guys that I was going to Bermuda? Well, we did last week! Brad's uncle was getting married there and we were invited to tag along with his family. I have been stressing about leaving Kinley for six weeks leading up to the trip! I cried like a baby putting her to bed the night before we left and it was so hard being away from her for five days. I missed her like crazy!! Despite missing my baby, I tried to enjoy myself! We had lots of pool time, I read a new book (The Island by Elin Hilderbrand, so so good read it now) drank ~~too much~~ a little wine, and ate lots of EXPENSIVE food! Damn was that food expensive (all of it, not just fancy stuff) I mean like 5 bucks for a fountain soda! Oh yeah and we saw Emeril at happy hour! He was staying in our hotel so that was pretty neat!
When it was time to come home, I might have been hungover so spending the whole day traveling pretty much sucked not to mention there was awful weather here in ATL and we were stuck in a holding pattern for over an hour! I was beginning to FREAK OUT when we were finally able to land! Our captain said if we had gone 7 more minutes we would have had to land in SC! Thank God we made it home safe and sound!

Series obsessed

We love tv in this house. I might like it ~~a little~~ a lot more than Brad does but whatever. Once we get hooked on a series, we can't stop until we have seen the entire thing! The first entire series we watched together was Entourage when we first started dating. Neither of us had real jobs and we had lots of free time. We would sit in the tv room at his parents house and watch episode after episode. Wow, that sounds lame. We watched Entourage all the way up until last season, decided last season sucked, and aren't watching this season. We will probably just catch it when it comes on dvd. Next we watched 24. Oh man I love some Jack Bauer. We blew our Blockbuster everyday renting season after season. Loved that show. RIP 24. Next we moved on to Sopranos. This show reminds me of living in our first apartment. And I mean, who doesn't love some Sopranos. Wish it was still on. Enter Netflix into our lives. We were told by a friend we should really watch The Wire. I wasn't all that interested but went with it. Oh man! One of my favorite shows EVER! My friend Katie is watching it now and I am pretty sure she is loving it too! Right Katie? :)
Towards the end of my pregnancy we spent a lot of time at home and started watching Dexter. At first it was too gory and violent for me. However it grew on me and it is now in my top 5 shows. Ahhh Dexter Morgan. New season starts Oct 2 whoop whoop!
And that brings us to today and ~~our~~ my obsession with Friday Night Lights. We just started last week and I cannot get enough. We will finish up season 1 tonight. I just love Matt and Julie and of course Coach and Tami Taylor!
Anyone else obsessed with watching an entire series beginning to end? What series do you love?

New blog! and a few iphone pictures

First of all, how much do we LOVE my new look! Jessica is obviously awesome and I am loving what she did for me :) Thank you Jessica! (hopefully this will motivate me to blog more often!)

Now a few iphone pictures. Did I tell y'all Kinley is taking swim lessons? We signed up for the mom/toddler class and ended up being the only ones in the class. So basically we are getting private lessons for the price of group lessons! Monday was her first day and she was awesome! She did everything great, loved going under water, and even jumped off the side with no fear! Today was a different story. She was not the best student but she sure did look cute :)

Also from today, here she is this morning watching Sesame Street (her favorite) enjoying her yummy toes. Silly girl

And last but not least, I hope she always wants to hold hands with Mama :) Love her so big!

Only two more days until the weekend! Hoping for some cooler temps so we can get outside some!

18 months

How in the world did this happen? My tiny, fresh newborn is an 18 month old ~~wild~~ sweet toddler! She is so much fun right now! She is learing new things every minute of the day it seems. Just last week her speech has really taken off and she is repeating and saying so many words! Her favorite things right now are Minnie, Abby Cadabby, Elmo, Dora, babies, shoes, stickers, and her Daddy! She is going through a phase right now where she NEVER wants to eat and that is making her mama CRAZY! I know it will eventually pass (hopefully) but until it does I am making her some yummy smoothies and even sneaking in some veggies! She is becoming very independent and she gets so mad when she can't do something! She starts swim lessons on Monday and I think she will just love them! She loves the pool!

I just love her so much it hurts!

As Kinley is getting older, she is getting more bored being at home all the time. Since the beach she is transitioning to one nap (not going so hot today) so I am trying to find things to do in the morning with her. We don't have a Little Gym, I am almost out of time for swim lessons, and it is hotter than shiz outside. This morning I thought maybe if I got a jump on things we could get out to the park before it was so hot we melted. HAHAHAHAH joke is on me. We get to the park and she is terrified of the swings. She slammed her head into a bar. A yellow jacket was after us. She was screaming this entire time. Park last all of 7 minutes (literally). Now she is in bed taking a totally off schedule nap bc she hasn't stopped crying since we got home. Maybe tomorrow we will try the pool early?
I don't want to wish time away but I am longing for the cooler weather so she can play outside and really enjoy it.
How original. Another post complaining about the heat. But damn it is hot! Can we just go back here?

The beach was great! We had rain the first day and a half but once it passed the weather was gorgeous! Kinley hated the sand, loved the ocean, and loved the pool! I'm sure she also loved not being on her schedule and getting to stay up extra late :) It was so nice getting to spend so much time with Brad! Kinley sure does love her Daddy!

Hi friends! Obviously I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I would do a "brain dump" and let you into this crazy mind of mine :)

-First of all....why the hell am I watching this dumb Paris Hilton show?? Anyone else seen this? Brooke Mueller is in every episode and this lady is a HOT MESS. Wow.

-We leave for vacation Saturday! We are headed down to Destin and I am so excited! It is going to be special bc this is where we got married, I was there when I was 10 weeks pregnant, and now we will be there with our girl! So fun! Is it Saturday yet?!?!

-I have been cleaning all morning bc I want to come home to a clean house and I hate that my hands stink of cleaning products all day. Blech

-I am obsessed with Bobbi Brown. makeup, lotion, moisturizer. all of it. Can't get enough.

-The Winnie the Pooh preview makes me smile. Winnie is just so sweet

-I wish we had a Little Gym in my town. I am sure Kinley would love it and it would be great to get her energy out. Some days she just so bored being home with me all day and come 5:00 we are both losing our minds and she is melting down. When she has a change of scene during her day, our day goes much smoother. I cannot believe my baby is growning up so fast :(

Just so you know, this is a venting post. I have had quite a week since last Friday. As my good friend AP would say, I have lost my shit more than once this week! Let me break it down for you....
Last Thursday- Go to the ortho and have to get my wrist cyst drained.....again. Hurts like a mother and I almost faint. Had a creepy male nurse come in and lift my legs in the air and stay there for like 5 minutes. cool.

Last Friday- playing on the internet and then all of the sudden.....no internet. Spend one hour trying to fix it with no dice. Oh well, not the end of the world bc most of the time I use the iphone anyway.

Fast forward to Sunday night- So excited to watch the RHOC reunion. 8:45 cable goes out. Figure it is bc it has been raining a little bit and will be back on in a jiffy. 20 minutes later and still no cable. Now I am missing my show. Get furious and get on the phone with STUPID DIRECTV. She assures me it is a problem with some plug thingy and we need a service call that will cost us 50 bucks. UM NO. Husband is not having that and flips to the phone lady. Ok, she credits us for 6 months (point for the husband) So we schedule our service call and the earliest they can come is Wednesday. WHAT?! I am a SAHM and I need/want/have to have TV. At this point there is really nothing I can do though. Brad decides he is going to check the satellite dish. At this point he pulls the cable straight out of the dish. Luckily he can fix it and I have tv back! Thank the lord!

Monday-wake up with a stye in my left eye. Ouch. but at least I have cable. And a broken front wheel on my new city mini stroller.not cool. only had it since March. ( I called buy buy baby and they replaced it for free today) Good news on this day is I became an Aunt! My brother and SIL welcomed their sweet little girl Averie Rose.

Tuesday-MIL is coming to watch K so I can get an oil change and run to Target. Kiss my baby and head out the door......to a dead Tahoe. Turn the key and nada. Oh how fun. MIL and I spend the next hour (in my polo dress and TB thoras) trying to jump the wacky battery. FYI Chevy batteries are not your average battery. Finally we gave up and Brad realized we had free road side assistant. So a few hours a very pleasant man (please note sarcasm) came and jumped and we were back in business. And here is the real kicker for tuesday. I take K out back to play for a bit after dinner. We weren't our there 5 minutes when a pesky wasp invaded my wine glass. Que husband making said wasp very pissed! It starts swirling quickly and is headed right for my baby! No way you bitchy wasp! Mama steps in, baby head bonks pavement and mama get stung......and ends up with this!

Wednesday-This is how Sarah finds out she is allergic to wasps. I was on FIRE and having shooting pains in my leg.This was yesterday aboout 24 hours later. I had just gotten home from Urgent care with a list of medications and a steroid shot is the arse. Given to me by another male nurse. Sweet. All of this after I paid $115 for a new battery and found out I have a "serious problem" with the Tahoe. Thank goodness it is going to be covered under the GM warranty.

And that brings us to today. And so far, so good!! Leg is a tiny bit better and not really putting of any heat. Swelling has gone down but the area has gotten much bigger and is turning purple. May have to go back tomorrow and get another steroid shot. Here it is today (excuse the awkward pose but this is the best way to see it

In the big scheme of things, I know most of these things are just silly and aren't really problems. I have just had a rough week and needed to vent. So happy I have this little cutie to make me smile everyday!

Things I am loving right now

Wow! Three posts in two days! I am on a roll :) I just wanted to share a few of my current favorite things with you guys....
I recently just started using a few Bobbi Brown products and I am loving it all so far!
This bronzer in Maui and it is so pretty and works really well with my fair skin. I also got a sample of this eye cream and I am going to have to get the full size. I have never used eyecream before but I think it is about time. This is so creamy and smooth. I also got this lotion and I am all kinds of obsessed with it!!! The smell is incredible and it takes you right to the beach! At first smell is is kind of strong but it fades and I catch traces of it throughout the day and I love it! Do yourself a favor and get it.

I have recently acquired four of these basic Gap tanks and can't get enough of them. They are soft, stretchy, and plenty long enough for me! I have white, black, navy, and iced purple. Love them

My Tory Burch Thora filp flops. I was hesitant when I first got these but now they are really my go to shoes and I love them! (I have the leopard print)

And lastly, I am loving this Aveeno shampoo and conditioner! I ran out of my Redken so I picked this up and it makes my hair so so soft!

Having a baby makes me a baby

First of all, my heart and prayers are going out to anyone affected by these horrific tornados. This is what has led me to this post and I know anyone with a baby/child/children probably can relate. Now that I have a child, EVERYTHING scares me to death. A few weeks ago with the tornado in Alabama and GA, I was a nervous wreck! I had the downstairs hall closet prepared, tried to stay awake as late as possible watching the news (and twitter), and just kept repeating to Brad "If somthing happens, first priority is grab Kinley!" Luckily the bad weather skipped right over us and we were all safe.
I had anxiety/paranoia before Kinley but now it is amplified by about a million! Obviously I didn't believe the world was going to end on May 21 but I was still anxious because "but I have a baby." I know it is ridiculous to worry about things that I have no control over....but I just can't help it! God has blessed me so by letting me be her mother and I never take that for granted.

Am I crazy? Well I know that I am, but has having a baby made you become crazy(ier) also??

Brain Dump

Hi friends! Hope everyone is having a good week! I can't seem to form a full post so I am just going to do a little "dump"

-I am so happy that I am not at my job anymore. Other than the fact I get to stay home with my bebe, that place was not good for me and I have no regrets about leaving.

-I found a channel that plays reruns of The Hills and I just can't get enough! Episodes are waiting on my dvr everday during nap time!

-I really should be more productive during nap time......

-I want to get Kinley into some type of little gym or swim class to get her some socialization. It is just hard right now because she still takes and still NEEDS two naps a day (early morning and around 2:30)
We have tried the one nap but she just isn't ready for that

-I am so happy for my friend who welcomed her sweet baby Chloe this week!

-I know I am late to the game but I am obsessed with Nike Tempo shorts.....just bought my second pair today

-Kinley has her first ponytail today :) This child has some crazy wild hair!

-I can't wait to watch Parenthood finale tonight! I love that show so much

-We have decided to host Easter lunch for our immediate family on Sunday and I am pretty excited for some honey baked ham! (And for Kinley to get her Easter basket and to wear her precious SheShe dress!!)

Ok, I have to go watch The Hills now......

Whoops! I didn't mean to stay gone for so long! I used to do my blogging from my work computer and now that I am no longer working.......clearly I haven't been blogging either! I'm sitting in bed waiting for Brad to get home with my Banana Pudding Milkshake and I thought I might catch up a bit. Not much has been going on really, just staying at home, taking care of my sweet girl, keeping house, grocery shopping, and a tiny bit of cooking and baking! I love being a SAHM and am so thankful for my husband for making this possible! My days are much different than they used to be but Kinley and I have fallen into a nice little schedule and here is what a typical day looks like for us.....

7:15-8:00 wake up and get K out of bed, take her downstairs for milk (real milk out of a sippy now...no more bottles), and she loves to snack on some cheerios all while watching Mickey
8:20 breakfast for K and coffee for me
8:30- 9:15 or 9:30 play time before she goes back down for a nap (she HAS to have this morning nap!)
9:30- 11:30 I usually catch up on shows from the night before, do laundry, dishes, make the bed
12-1:30 is when we usually run any errands we have to do for the day or go for a run/walk (K will have a snack in the car and then lunch when we get home)
She WAS usually going down for her 2nd nap around 2:30 but that is not really happening much anymore.....there has been no afternoon nap for the last 3 days (I even tried putting her down at 3 today and still no nap)
So we usually play outside if it is nice or inside if not, read books, she plays in her cozy coupe...
B usually gets home around 5-5:30 but this is his BIG season so it has been much later lately
5:30-6:00 Kinley eats dinner
6:15 a bath for the little stinker
6:40 finish getting ready for bed, read books, drink milk
7-7:30 Kinley goes to bed, we eat dinner together and watch tv and we are usually always in bed lights out at 10!

Well, I am sure that was boring for you but I just want to have it in case I want to look back :)

Quick Fast

It has been so long since I have posted! I have wanted to but just been so busy! Here is just a quick catch up.....

-It's birthday week!! In three short days my baby will be ONE!! so fun and exciting and sad at the same time! This year has just flown by! I can't wait to show you all pictures from her party!

-I have been praying about this for a LONG time and we have finally made the decision for me to stay at home with my girl! I will be working the rest of February but come March I am going to be a SAHM and could not be more excited about this!!
-I am getting my hair done on Friday and I am thinking of losing the blond and going NATURAL! I have not seen my natural color since high school and I am scared....will probably chicken out....stay tuned!

Snow days!

So unless you have been living under a rock you know we just had a major snowstorm! (major for ATL)! I gave into all the hype and was so anxiously awaiting the snow Sunday night and praying I wouldn't have work on Monday :) We were watching Desperate Housewives (I was paying more attention to my book trying to finish The Help....and I did) and I was getting really upset because I was sure it was somehow just going to skip us :( All over twitter people were saying it was really coming down where they were and finally at about 10pm the sky opened up and there was a blanket of snow in about 30 minutes!!! I got an email around 11pm that night that we would be closed on Monday! I felt like a kid in school getting a snow day! Little did I know it would last 3.5 days! Today was my first day back in the office but the roads were still pretty bad and icy!!

We only took Kinley in the snow for about 10 minutes and of course she face-planted and she was OVER.IT!

Party Panic

I cannot believe that in just six short weeks my teeny tiny newborn peanut is going to be ONE YEAR OLD! I know everyone says this, but seriously where the heck does the time go?! So of course with the big birthday approaching we have to have a big party and do it up right! A while back I decided on a snowflake theme using light pink, white, and teal as the colors. Since I work full time, planning has been a little difficult and I feel like I am running out of time! I do have some great people helping me out with precious invitations and decorations, a super cute wreath, and the perfect outfit! Table decor is slowing coming along and I ordered two gorgeous Rosanna pieces yesterday and I cannot wait until they arrive at my door! On the to do list for next week is hit up Michaels for snowflakes and a local bakery to see about their cupcakes and a smash cake :) I have a feeling that this little one is going to LOVE eating her cake :) Tonight Brad and I are going to start making a list of the food we plan on serving while catching up on my DVR shows from last night (Private Practice, RHOBH, and Jersey Shore)....don't judge me :)

Obviously I haven't been blogging much lately! I have thought about blogging.....just haven't really had much to say! We have been busy as I am sure everyone else has for the Holidays :) I can't believe it is only 4 days away from Christmas!! This Christmas is so much sweeter than any other because I have my sweet baby (who is WALKING) here to celebrate!! Tomorrow is my last day of work and I am so looking forward to spending 4 days at home with family!
I hope everyone has a BLESSED Christmas spending time with family and celebrating the birth of Jesus!

My girl is getting so big! She had her nine month appointment yesterday and did great! Weighing in at 22.5 lbs and 30 inches long! BIG GIRL! One tiny toe prick that she literally did not even feel and one shot.
She had started taking steps last week and today at the babysitters house she took 5 in a row!

I had such a fun weekend with two blog/twitter meet up that I can't wait to blog about! Hope you all did too!

Halloween Weekend

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! It was Kinley's first Halloween and she was a unicorn! We started on Friday at my office and she was the life of the party! She was great with the costume and never cried once!
Saturday was my SIL birthday and we had dinner at Brad's parent's house. It was right in the middle of K's nap so we really didn't stay all that long but everyone loved seeing her!
Sunday was a very busy day for us! Brad and I made an early morning run to Whole Foods and stocked up on meat and chicken. Also, they have the most gorgeous flowers there and got Mom and I each a dozen roses for only five bucks!!!
That afternoon we had our fall family pics/ Kinley's nine month pics scheduled with my good friend. The weather was perfect and it was timed perfectly with K's nap! She was great and I am hoping we got some really great pics for our Christmas cards!

For Halloween we went over to my mom's neighbors and had chicken tortilla soup and let Kinley's play in her costume for a while before heading home to hand out candy. She stayed up a little past her bed time and I think we all had a great first Halloween!

I just love Thursdays! When I wake up in the morning I say "only one more day" and "I get to wear jeans tomorrow! I love that the promise of tomorrow is Friday! :) And Thursday nights I love the most! Once K goes to bed Brad and I have dinner and settle down to watch Grey's! My favorite night of the week! Here are just a few things I am thankful for on this Thursday......
-Halloween candy! (however my waist is not thankful for this! HA)
-The cooler temps! Finally! This weekend is supposed to have perfect weather! Sunny and right around 70 all weekend!
-My family and friends who help take care of my sweet baby!
-My job even though I complain about it
-My friend who is taking our fall photos and Kinley's NINE month pictures!
-My sweet husband who makes dinner every.single.night! This week has had some yummy meals....homemade pizza last night and homemade baked potato soup Monday night! (I am making Halloween bark tonight)

-and this sweet face (as always!!!!) side note: I just ordered two 16x24 canvas prints of this picture. One for me and one for my mom for Christmas. Can't wait to show yall when they get here! :)

I really want to blog today but I just can't come up with anything to talk about today so maybe I will just do a brain dump!
-I just went to the mall on my lunch break and tore up Gap! everything in the store today is 40% off! (and I have Gap stuff being shipped to my house...whoops)
-My baby is turning eight months old tomorrow! How on earth did this happen?!
-Got a mani/pedi yesterday and the lady almost took off a fingernail! Seriously, she cut it so freaking short!
-Why is it 85 degrees here today? It is Oct 11 and this is unacceptable. period.
-I ordered my first Scentsy products last week and am being very impatient about getting them! I want them now!
-So glad the Dawgs could get a win this weekend! Bout time
-My hair is in need of serious help! thought I made an appt for last Saturday but turned out that I made it for Friday :( I couldn't go because I had work so rescheduled for this Saturday. Yall.........my hair has not been cut since BEFORE I HAD KINLEY!!! more than eight months. WOOF
-My tongue is going numb from tooooo many hot tamales!
-Anyone watch Dexter last night? He is screwed!

First Dance

I don't know why this just hit me.....maybe because I saw some wedding pictures on someone's blog. I always wonder what song the couple used as their "first dance" when I see pics of the couple dancing. We used Jack Johnson "Better Together" and I will love it FOREVER! Seriously love that song and every single word of it! Despite the song, our first dance kinda sucked :( Brad was nervous with everyone watching and he isn't really a dancer. Wish we could have a do-over! With the same song of course!

DATE NIGHT!

So Saturday night B and I got a date night and it was so much fun! I missed my baby terribly but it was nice to have a grown up night! K had a sleepover with her Mimi and we had dinner and a movie! We grabbed a quick bite at the Longhorn bar and then headed to see the new Wall Street movie. It is not really a movie I would normally like but I didn't care, I just wanted the popcorn! To my surprise, I actually enjoyed the movie and am now a fan of Shia Labeauf. Parts of it were hard to understand, but overall I would give it a good rating! We went home, caught up on SVU and went to bed at 11:30! So late for us these days! (I actually passed out on the couch about 10:45) and then got to sleep in until 9:00AM!!! That is the latest I have slept in 8 months!!!!!! And K slept until 8 at my parents when she usually is up around 7!! We had a late breakfast at my parents when we went to pick her up and then ran the normal Sunday errands (whole foods, regular grocery store) and watched the Falcons beat the Saints!
We were so excited for the season premier of Dexter that night! We called and ordered Showtime just for Dexter! We are OBSESSED with it! Can't wait to see what happens this season!

Hope yall had a good weekend and are having cooler temps this week! I am finally wearing my new riding boots today and am so happy about it!

Football Season

So college football starts this Saturday. This means Brad will be planted on the couch all day, every Saturday (beer in hand) from now until whenever................
Now I love some SEC football and I am a dawgs fan all the way but Brad likes to watch it all. Doesn't matter who it is (after his #1 team VT then the dawgs)

At least football food/snacks are soooooo yummy!!!!

So long to the days of sitting at Taco Mac watching football and day drinking into the night.........now we have this little cutie! And she says "GO DAWGS! SIC EM!"

As I have mentioned here before....I do not cook. EVER.
Since I have had Kinley I have been wanting to cook and Saturday I finally did! I made a chicken artichoke that I got from the sweet Mrs NCF and it turned out quite yummy if I do say so myself :)

I made a few adjustments and served it over brown rice. Brad is pretty critical and even he was impressed :)
We ate dinner and watched Date Night. Not the best movie ever but pretty entertaining.

And just because it is my MOST FAVORITE dish ever.....

I may have eaten three plates of this last night!

Half a year!!!!!

Soooo..........Only three posts ago I was writing how my baby was five months old. Well today I am writing that she is SIX.MONTHS.OLD.

I cannot believe that my tiny baby is a six month old that....

-sleeps 11 hours at night

-eats three meals a day (has had oatmeal, bananas, peaches, apples, peas, squash, carrots, and sweet potato)

-holds her own bottle
-scoots and moves all over the place!!!!!
-has figured out how to pull her knees under her and has started rocking back and forth.........she will be crawling before we know it!!!!
-Love Sesame Street and The Wiggles
- went for her first "sick visit" last week and was beginning an ear infection. So we are on 10 days of "bubble gum" antibiotic
-weighed 18 lbs 5.6 oz! my big girl!!
-LOVES animals! Just squeals and laughs at cats and dogs!
-Is the joy of my life and cannot even remember my life without her!!!!

Tomorrow we go to the specialists for her tummy :( We are going to see a pedi GI Dr. because her "spit-up" hasn't improved what so ever. Sometimes it is upwards of 20 times a day :( Please say a prayer for us!

That's what I got. I have been sooo busy at work (which is where I usually blog) and just don't feel like I have anything to say really.....................so I will just list some random things.........

I got my new iphone 4 last week and I am a liiiiiiitle obsessed with it. I went from a 2 yr old BB curve and now I know I was missing out! Love everything about it (except the fact that I mute it and hang up on people with my face) Love having the camera and video for Kinley :)

Tuesday= Teen Mom I love it. Can't help it. Maci is by far the best Mom. Ryan is a total douche. Farrah is a total brat. Amber and Gary :shudders: and I just feel bad for Caitlin and Tyler. To bad it comes on at ten and that is my bedtime these days! What would I do without my dvr?!

I went to Ulta today to get Turquoise and Caicos today and they didn't have it :( was so bummed!

Is it September yet? We are going to Hilton Head for our 2nd anniversary and I cannot wait! It will be our first "real" family vacation. I can't wait to see my cutie on the beach :) (If I already talked about this vacay I can't remember)

I mentioned a few post back how I LOVE the frozen Edy's fruit bars and that obsessions has not slowed one bit! ~~Most of the time~~ Every now and then one is not enough and I eat two....They are just so good and refreshing in the summer! Strawberry, Coconut, and Pome are my favorite!!

Work wise things are crazy and busy! I miss my baby everyday all day and wish so much I could be home with her. Good news for this week is I have my review on Thurday and will hopefully get a raise. Also, our babysitter is out of town so we had to do some rearranging of the schedules and I am taking off to stay home with K Friday :)

We has such a fun and relaxing weekend! I was sooooo depressed to leave my sweet girl and come back to work today :( We did so much this weekend I am going to list my recap by days. And I have pics but haven't uploaded them yet....I will get them up this week though!

Friday- Got out of work an hour early at 4...was so pumped! And then I can't even remember what I did once I got home. Pretty sure we just hung out and I watched Say Yes to the Dress and went to bed early!

Saturday- I think K slept until about 7:15! Sleeping in for us! We did some early morning shopping at Target with Mimi (my mom) and did some damage :) Shopped some more at Parson's and got some fun things for the house! The house is slowly but surely coming together! (I need to get pics of that too!) Then mom and I went the this little antique store call The Runt but I didn't find anything I just had to have. That night Brad and I had a surprise party to go to for our new BIL. It was really fun, he was surprised, and lets just say this Mama had wayyyyyyy to much fun!! We didn't get home until 1:45am!!! the last time I saw 1:45 am was during my marathon labor with K!!!

Sunday- I wasn't feeling so hot but we went to Panera and I broke my gluten free diet and got a yummy cinnamon crunch bagel! We were pretty lazy the rest of the day and then had a fun cookout at our house with our families and some neighbors. K went to sleep perfectly and I tried to go to bed early too. That was until the damn fireworks! She slept through them for about an hour but was woken up by the finale! Wasn't too bad though, I gave her a few oz and she went right back to bed :) such a good girl!

Monday- The three of us went to bfast at chick-fil-a and then grocery shopping. We have decided to make most of K's baby food and we started yesterday! We made carrots, apples, and squash and later this week we will make pears too! This girl loves to eat :)
We had to make another quick run to target so of course I had to get an icee :)
then on to Whole Foods!! I freakin love WF!!! Gluten Free galore! Can't wait to try the UDI's bread!

Our weekend was really great and filled with family and friends! Hope you all had a great weekend and happy 4th!

So last week I said I was looking for a huge mirror for our room. So Saturday we headed out to HomeGoods/TJ Maxx. Well, I am happy but my bank account is not! We did find a mirror and I found lamps that I am totally obsessed with! So now we are looking for new paint (think light, crisp, celery green) and this morning the husband ordered new white (clean, crisp) sheets!

Here is the new mirror and this is where it will hang. I love having a full length mirror now!! (Please ignore that blue wall....that is what I am trying to get rid of!)

And here is the lamp! We got two (one for each nightstand) and I love them! (Again with the blue wall!)

And you get to see what is on my nightstand....just had cleaned it off....Monitor, tissues, jewlery, remote, Kate Spade glasses, and eye drops

And clearly these have nothing to do with the masterbedroom, just wanted to share my new dresses from LOFT that I got on mad sale! and the necklace!

4 months!

This big girl went for her 4 month well check today! (we were two weeks late...oops!)

height- 26.5 inches! 98%.... they could not believe how long she is! She takes after her mama and daddy! Mama is six feet and daddy is 6"3

Weight- She weighs 16lbs 7oz. She is eating about 36 oz in a 24 hr period and has now started rice cereal for lunch. So far we have tried it with bananas and she loved it from first bite! Now the Dr. said to try her on oatmeal and veggies. She has sweet peas today!

She still has a little head measuring at 16.5 in. But it is oh so cute :)

Thankfully she only ended up getting two shots and one oral. The first shot she looked at me like "hey, what the heck was that?" then she really let it loose for the second one :( Poor baby but it only lasted about 15 seconds. Mama started crying the second I saw the needles! She is with her MiMi today (my mom) and she seems to be very happy! So happy she isn't having a bad reaction to the shots :)

So excited to get home and see her! Also becasue the earrings I orded from Stella&Dot to support baby Cohen arrived today and I can't wait to see them! :)

Thursday Night Randoms

Hi everyone! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :) Laying in bed right now and can't come up with anything to write about so I'm just gonna tell you what is one my mind.....
I have been so good about blogging this week! I think this is my third post! Woo hoo!

I have been dreading tomorrow for two months now.....it is Kinley's 2 month appt.....meaning she will be getting FOUR shots :( It is the saddest thing ever when she realizes what just happened to her! Mama cries right along with her poor baby :( although I am interested to see how much the little peanut weighs! Just wish I didn't have to leave her and go to work right after! At least she will be with her MiMi (my mom)

I have mentioned before (more than once I am sure) how much I freaking hate directv! Well, my Bravo channel has been out since MONDAY! meaning I still haven't seen RHONJ from this week and I am missing the unseen footage of RHONY and Bethenny tonight! And I just called and the girl was NO HELP! Uggh....so annoying

We don't really have any big plans for this weekend, kind of just laying low. This is the first Saturday in like 5 months that he hasn't worked! We are planning on doing some shopping at TJ Maxx and maybe Hobby Lobby. I am looking for a giant floor length mirror for our bedroom. I am tired of standing on the bathtub to see my outfit! This was not a smart move when I was 8 months pregnant!
Pretty excited to be getting my hair done on Saturday too! Goodbye roots!

First off, when I changed my blog name, all my comments went away?? Is this normal? Also, I am keeping the link to the blog http://www.aglimpseofsarah.blogspot.com/ just incase......
Warning: this post is not to complain!! PROMISE!! I'm just struggling right now.......

So, balance. Yeah.....I am having a hard time with this right now, as I know many others do too. Being a mommy to my sweet Kinley is the greatest thing in the entire world. With becoming a new mom, obviously your life totally changes and you have to figure out how to balance everything. On top of that, I am a full-time working mom. And yes, I know people do this everyday and are successful at it, but for me it is difficult. I miss Kinley all day, everyday! And my husband....oh right! I have a husband!! He is working his tail off (as this is his busy season) usually six sometimes seven days a week. And keeping the house clean.....that is just a joke! If we do get it clean (always on the weekends, it only last like 5 minutes) And this post baby body....laughable, ha! These jello arms and flabby thighs....are NO BUENO! But by the time at get home at 5:45, I only have about 45 minutes with Kinley and I want to spend every second with her that I can.
Uggh, I am just so frustrated.....any advice is welcomed, please and thank you

So it has been quite a while since my last post.....
Here is what we have been up to ( I love lists)
-Friday, June 4, Kinley turned 16 weeks old! (that was also the day last year my little peanut was growning in my belly )
-My brother got married May 22 and we made our first road trip to Chattanooga. Kinley did awesome but her sleep got totally thrown off!

-She has been sleeping through the night (in her crib) since about 10 weeks old. Lately she has been waking up once a night, but last night she slept 13 hours straight! She only napped for a totally of 40 minutes yesterday!

-We booked our vacay yesterday and will be heading to Hilton Head in September to celebrate our 2nd anniversary :)
-My swelling started about the 37th week of pregnancy and my fingers still aren't the same. As my wedding set, I had to bands and my engagement ring. Well all three of them were impossible to wear so we traded the two bands and upgraded to one band with larger diamonds.....I LOVE it!!!
-I have been back to work since May 7 and it totally sucks! I miss the peanut all day every day
-My SIL is getting married this coming weekend and will be making a trip to Baltimore. Kinley's first plane ride..........wish us luck!!!!!!!!!! And she will be turning 4 months old the day of the wedding! Such a big girl!
-Did I tell you all I got a new car? Well I did and I love my Tahoe!!
-Dunkin Donut french vanilla coffee rules my life.....couldn't function without it!
-CANNOT BELIEVE I still haven't seen SITC 2............my how times have changed!
-Post baby body is ridiculously hard to shop for! I get so frustrated and just give up
-Any of you mamas to baby girls have any ideas where to get cute, monogrammed, smocked, etc. dresses and/or outfits?

Wow, I have been MIA for quite sometime! Here is what has kept me away from this blog (I have been reading, just not writing!)

-My sweet baby girl! As she snoozes next to me on the couch, It is impossible to believe she will be 11 weeks old tomorrow. Time, please stand still!
-At her 8 week appt she was 12lbs. 11.2 oz and 25 inches long!! 98th% in height! Big girl!!
-I got a new car and I love it!! Got a 2007 silver tahoe and it is a tank, seriously!
-I went to the Dr last week to get an IUD put in (tmi? if so please forgive me) and I had lost another 9 lbs making the weight lose 43 lbs since she was born! I cannot believe I gained so much weight that I have lost 43 lbs! and still have more to go, good grief!!!
-Anyone else watch the new season of The Hills? Heidi is a hot mess!!!! She looks like a frozen cat!!
-I have been doing quite a bit of shopping lately. Good and Bad. Good because I get new clothes, bad because I am still to big to fit in all my old ones :(
-Sleeping in our house is getting much better and on a routine! Baby goes to bed at 8:30 everynight (in her crib) wakes up about 3:00am (give or take) has a bottle and goes right back to bed then up for good between 6-7
-I will have my first night out this Saturday for my SIL's bachelorette party. Should be fun but I am dreading leaving my peanut :(
-Can't wait for the RHONJ to start next week!!
-I CAN wait to go back to work next friday............ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! This is a nightmare
-Can someone tell me how I went to Target today to get Mother's day cards and came out $88 later......WTF?!

So guess who's baby turned 2 months on Monday?! And guess who's baby slept in her crib all night?! (with the exception of 3-4:30 am)

If you guessed mine, you are correct!! How can Kinley be two months old already? And how does society expect me to go back to work in 3.5 weeks? They must be CRAZY!

She is so close to laughing and I know it will happen any second!

The love I have for this baby girl cannot even be put into words and I thank God everyday for choosing me

So, I am sitting here on the couch while my babe is sleeping on her belly next to me (GASP! sleeping on her belly!) watching my beloved "O.C' and they are in Las Vegas! I forgot to tell you all last time that we are hoping to go for our second anniversary in September :) Neither of us have every been and we both are so excited! Brad loves to gamble and eat good and I am looking foward to seeing all the sights, shopping, and hopefully seeing the Beatles Love show! Brad promised me he would buy me an LV while we are there, so I am gonna hold him to that ;) I am hoping to stay at the Hard Rock! Anyone have any reccomendations (did I spell that right?) for hotels or dinner?

So the rash....it was a mad case of hives (still is actually) so I am on steroids for 15 days and zyrtec everynight. Awesome. No idea what caused them. You can't see them anymore but they still itch like crazy!

Had my six week follow up with my OB and everything is all good. Now it is time for this freakin baby weight to make its exit. I've lost 34 lbs and still have a ways to go. Yes that is a lot, I gained A LOT of damn weight!!

Brad had a cold that turned into a sinus infection and now my poor tiny babe has a stuffy nose :( She had a MISERABLE day yesterday and just cried all.day. long.

Her sleeping is getting better (other than last night, she was sick and wanted mama all night) but she has started falling asleep in her pack and play but is still waking up two times a night. Although, last friday when she turned 6 weeks she slept a 6 hour stretch. It was awesome and hasn't happened again

The weather here is fanfreakintastic! Going to be up to 76 today!! Can't wait to take the babe out for a walk again!

My maternity leave is half way over. This is the most depressing thing ever! I don't want to leave my little peanut :(

Really hope I can get a shower today! It has been that kind of week!

Maternity leave perks!

Other than the obvious (being with my sweet babe all day everyday) there are many reasons I love maternity leave. Just to name a few.....
-Watching The O.C. on SOAP everyday! I freakin love this show! Ryan and Marissa, Seth Cohen and Summer, Kirsten and Sandy!
-Taking a mid-day walk in this incredible weather! 72 and sunny today!
-Staying in PJ's all day if we want :)
-Going to target (or any shopping) whenever we want (as long as Kinely permits!)
-I have become sososososo spoiled on strarbucks caramel latte's!
-spending Friday's with my mama/ Kinley's mimi
-Lunching with my girlfriends :) Last week I had lunch at cheesecake with my friend from highschool and her new baby boy Logan (he is 4 weeks older than K) and today I went to lunch with my girlfriend Bethe!
-I know it sounds odd, but I love getting laundry done during the day
-Love being home when B gets home, when I am working he is always home before me

In other news, this freakin rash is still going (and growing) strong so I have a dermatology appt tomorrow. This rash just laughed in the face of claritin! I will update tomorrow (or at least try) with the news on the rash (as if you all really care)

I have a serious rash all.over.my.body!
So like two days ago I started itching on my calf and I was just thinking it was from shaving since I hadn't done that in oh I don't know, since the baby was born! Then it was on the other leg....hmmm that's odd. Then it was on both thighs. Then both ankles. Then on my stomach. and onto the arms. WTF is going on here?!?!?! My sweet babe was snoozing away at 4am and I was freakin wide awake scratching like a cat with fleas! My mom was/is concerned that maybe I picked up something at the hospital, but I would think it would show up before now. So called the OB and left a message. Their answer........take benadryl. Oh ok great thanks, let me take a benadryl and pass out and let my 5 1/2 week old take care of herself. PERFECT.
So, quick run to CVS and the pharmacist says take Claritin. Only taken one pill but I am still itching like crazy! I am praying this goes away soon because it is making me crazy!! Anyone else experience this after childbirth?
In other news, the weather here in ATL is perfect! 72 and sunny tomorrow! Beautiful today but a little windy for our walk. So far, Kinley loves walks! Sleeps the entire time!

Rough Start...

So it is only 10:15 and this day is off to a rough start! Miss Kinley had her one month appt today at freakin 8:20 am. She usually doesn't even wake up until about 8:45 and with the time change she is even more off! So after having to wake her up, she had a stinky diaper and she HATES getting her diaper changed anyway. This started the screaming!! Then I had to put her down to get myself ready, not a happy girl!! Once we left, I leaned in the backseat to cover her face from the sun and she had spit up her ENTIRE bottle, it was coming out her nose, eyes were watering, and she couldn't breathe! (this is nothing new, she has major reflux) Although she has the reflux, she is a growing girl! She weighs 10. 3.4 oz and is 23 inches long!

Then once we get to the Dr. we talked about her reflux issues and now she is on a second medication and her third formula (breastfed for the first week but my milk never came in). When she chokes like that is scares the shit out of me, so hopefully with the medications and the rice cereal in her formula, she will startgetting better. My poor peanut :(
After all this she had to get the dreaded shot :( It was only one and I think it hurt mama more than her. She let out one big holler and it was over

Sleep issues: they are getting somewhat better. She still falls asleep on us (which I kind of love cuddling with her :)) but is usually transfering pretty well into her pack and play. She does have to sleep on her boppy though because she chokes whenever she is flat on her back from the reflux. Last night and the night before we got about 4 hrs of sleep before her first bottle! So hopefully things will continue to improve!

(this first question is probably TMI...sorry)
When the hell will the bleeding and the pain stop?!?! I mean seriously!!

Where did your newborn sleep for the first few weeks at home? I need help in this department! Miss Kinley will sleep anywhere during the day. Bouncy seat, swing, on the boppy, pack n play (you get the picture) but at night, that is a different story! This girl wants her mama! The ONLY place she will sleep at night is on me (no judging please! I am trying here!) So I give her a bottle, let her fall asleep, then try and transfer her to pack n play. There is not fooling this little chica, she is awake and screaming within 5 minutes!!! How does she know?!?! Any advice would be appreciated please and thank you!

-My babe is 10 days old today!
-Night time is actually going pretty well and we are not all that exausted....yet. Now if I could only get her to sleep somewhere other than my chest! She will sleep anywhere during the day but at night, forget it!! she wants her mama!
-I am still in a ridiculous amount of pain (in the region where the baby came from if you know what I mean)
-My right leg is still somewhat numb from the epidural. Not cool at all
-had to switch K's formula to soy because she has been having quite a bit of spit up and discomfort, so far it seems to be working ( was going to BF but my milk never came in)
-I am suffering from the baby blues a bit...cannot stop freakin crying sometimes for no reason. So irritating!
-I cannot wait to get out of the house! How long did you all wait to take your baby out into public?
-watching Ellen right now and she freakin cracks me up!!
-Really curious as to how much weight I have lost. We don't have a scale so I probably won't even know until my 6 week appt (can't believe how much my stomach has gone down!)
-My friend who did my maternity pics is doing newborn pics for us on Saturday and I am super excited!

Movement- really strong pushes, loves to bury herself in my ribs on the right side too. Actually pretty painful

Lets just go ahead and say the 40 week appt was a big fat FAIL! (Just a reminder, my due date is this Friday) So yesterday I was dilated to 2 1/2 cm and he went ahead and stripped my membranes. We met in his office and talked and in "his medical opinion, it would not be right to take the baby earlier than a week late" Sooo, if little Miss Kinley doesn't come on her own (please god let her come on her own.....soon) then we will not induce until February 19th......as in NINE days from now. Basically I had a mental breakdown. I don't know how in the world I am going to last that long! I am in so much pain and it feels like someone took a sledge hammer to my lady bits!! (sorry probably tmi). I just keep telling myself, I have a healthy baby and I am healthy and (hopefully) she can't stay in there forever. I was having contractions for quite a while last night and thought maybe something was happening, but she changed her mind...again!

So, now we just wait. And FYI- maternity leave with no baby= BORING!

Today I am 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant and it is finally my last day of work!! I was going to try and hold out until the very last minute but it has become physically impossible. At this point I can hardly walk, seriously! I cannot believe I am still pregnant!! I have my 40 week (!!!!!!!!!!!!) appt today (due date is this friday the 12th) at 4:00 and I am hoping there is more progress and we can get this show on the road already! Please send me some good thoughts and labor/fairy dust! :) I will hopefully update tonight!

Sleep? yes please! It has actually been pretty good lately! Still getting up for the bathroom lots but falling right back asleep! I think my body is just so exausted!

38 week misery

WARNING: VENT
Let me start by saying I have had a pretty easy pregnancy up until about three weeks ago (besides the back pain). And I have not wanted to complain this entire time because I am THRILLED to be having/carrying my baby girl. However, the past few weeks have just been almost unbearable. Everypart of my body hurts. My wrists, my finers (had to lose the wedding rings and my new DY about 3 weeks ago), my back and hips, my feet are so swollen I am wearing flip flops in 35 degree weather! And the worst part is I have this strip that runs across the top of my belly that is like constant pins and needles that burns so bad! Apparently it is from the skin and muscles stretching. And I am starting to get pregnant face. And the weight gain is OUT OF CONTROL! Ok, rant done, moving on.....

How Far Along? 38 weeks
Total Weight Gained/Loss? too much......again, OUT OF CONTROL

Maternity Clothes: yeah, even those hardly fit, I am wearing the same like 5 outfits
Sleep? yes please! it still sucks but is not as bad. I am basically making myself a cacoon of pillows. Getting up lots to go potty, and usually after my third time it is really hard to get back to sleep
Best Moment of the Week? Had my 38 week appt; had a yummy dinner at PF Changs with husband and my mom and then got TCBY!

Movement- really strong pushes

Food Craving- was TCBY but I got that satisified!
Food aversions- same ole' wheat and flour. But I am eating the famous eggplant parm this weekend from Scalinis, that is supposed to be magic!
Morning sickness?- not since about week 13 or 14
Gender- Little Lady Kinley
Labor Signs- almost fainted at the dentist the other day and started contracting for a while, but sadly they stopped :( At my 38 week appt the other day I was dilated to 1.5, which isn't much but better than the big fat ZERO last week!

What I'm looking forward to- Having a healthy (OUTSIDE) baby girl! and hopefully more progress at my 39 week appt on tuesday

I hate to give into the "hype" but this girl needs some serious therapy!!! Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with a little something here or there but For heaven's sake honey, you are only 23 years old and you have already had 12 plastic surgeries?!? And is already planning on returning again to take her DDD's bigger!!!!!!! She says she wants them to be size "H" for Heidi! And she didn't even tell her family she was doing it? And Spencer, what a Fabulous husband.........
Someone, please get this girl some help!

Food aversions- same ole' wheat and flour
Morning sickness?- not since about week 13 or 14

Can't believe I have been MIA for two weeks! Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and NYE! Our Christmas was great (exausting) and family filled! NYE was very low key as we celebrated my Mr's and Mom's bdays!
Here is a list of some of the many things going on in my crazy mind right now
-I don't do New Years Resoulutions, ever. So obviously, I have none
-Anyone else see Kate Gosselin's hair? WTF? Seriously.
-Someone please take the peanut butter away from me............
-all three of my wedding bands are on my necklace today, stupid fat fingers!
-excited to get my hair done on Saturday morning before my baby shower!
-this may sound stupid, but it really just hit me last night that it isn't going to be "just us" anymore!
-Uh, it has been about 18 degrees all week here in the ATL (6 with windchill) and it is "supposed" to snow today and freakin school have already decided on early release for the POSSIBILITY of snow. Good Grief
-The nursery is finally done and my hospital bag is almost ready. I will post final pictures of nursery soon :)

Sleep? first couple days this week were AWESOME! I only woke up once a night for three nights in a row! Last night however, was awful!
Best Moment of the Week? Nothing major, love having the babe in my belly for Christmas :)
Movement- Still lots, now it is more pushing and stretching
Food Craving- none really right now, looking foward to lots of delicious Christmas food!
Food aversions- anything with wheat or flour, VERY hard at Christmas time with all the baked goodies!!!!
Morning sickness?- not since about week 13 or 14
Gender- Little Lady Kinley
Labor Signs- dialated one centimeter as of last tuesday!! but I could stay like that for a loooong time!
Belly Button- 95% out

32 weeks and catch up

Sleep? not all that bad really, very uncomfortable when changing positions and it kills my ribs!
Best Moment of the Week? hearing her heart for over an hour (more on that to come)

Food Craving- none really right now but my husband is torturing me with Little Debbie Christmas Trees!!! My favorite treat ever! and of course I can't have them!

So I have had quite a busy week! I was taking off on Tuesday to run tons of baby related errands so Monday night we decided to go see the movie The Blindside. Seriously, Best. Movie. Ever. If you have not seen it, you need to ASAP!
Tuesday moring I had my 32 week appt. Everyting was great (excluding the number on the scale!!!!) and we were done there pretty quickly. We ate lunch and then moved on to tour our first daycare :( she is going to be home three days a week, but we are more than likely going to have to have her in daycare on Tuesday/Thursday. I hate the idea of leaving her in a daycare but at this point I'm not sure we have a choice and at least it is only 2 days a week. So, while we were touring this facility I started not to feel so hot. I was having really terrible pains in my stomach. This has happened before so I just assumed they would go away. We kept on with our day, met with the peditrician, two more day cares, and went to target. At this point it was about 5pm and I was still not feeling well and in a lot of pain, but I was still thinking it would go away. So at about 8pm, from the urging of my mom and Brad, I finally called the Dr. and he wanted me to go ahead and come in to Labor and Delivery to get checked. I knew she was fine becasue I could see and feel her moving, I was just afraid I was having contractions. So we get there and I get hooked up and her little heart is just beating away perfectly around 140 bpm :) She was healthy and I was totally fine (and one centimeter dialated!!) I knew everything would be fine but better safe than sorry! The nurse said the pain could be RLP or my uterus could just be "irritated". But for now, this Kinley girl is staying put :) I just need to take it easy and drink tons of liquid and stay hydrated!!!
Thank Goodness tomorrow is Friday! Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry this was so long!

Total Weight Gained/Loss? No clue, haven't been on the scale since the last time at the Dr. on Nov 23rd. But when I do know, I will NOT be sharing!
Maternity Clothes: necessary, all the time....and most shirts I have are starting to be too short!

Sleep? not sleeping all that bad although last night was not good, up three times to potty then couldn't go back to sleep at 4:30am
Best Moment of the Week? Maybe a little superficial but I was so excited to get my ring :) And as always, feeling her move all the time! I swear she has been awake for 24 hrs straight!
Movement- All the time! My favorite thing
Food Craving- Jumbo Marshmallows! can't stop eating them
Food aversions- none
Morning sickness?- not since about week 13 or 14
Gender- Kinley girl : )
Labor Signs- none but having BH more frequently

Belly Button- majorly out on the right side, still in on the left. Usually fully out after I eat

What I miss- Sleeping through the night, regular clothes, having a coke or coffee whenever I please
What I'm looking forward to- Dr. appt on Tuesday and meeting with the peditrician
Weekly Wisdom- none really this week I guess

Hope everyone is having a great week! Thank God tomorrow is Friday! We have a big family Christmas party this saturday in the mountains and dinner on Sunday with my sister-in-law and her fiance. Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Although her nursery is still a work in progress, it is almost finished :) We only have 10 weeks left till my bebe arrives!!! What do you all think of the bookshelf? It was made with lots of love by her Daddy :)

How Far Along? 29 weeks!! Only 11 more and I cannot believe it!

Best Moment of the Week? Hearing the heartbeat on Monday and my mom was there with us so she got to hear it for the first time, Thanksgiving, and getting our Christmas tree today : )

Milestones- nothing major this week, just happy we made it another week and can't believe how fast it is going! This little girl is going to be here before we know it!

Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! I have so many blessings to be thankful for! Top of the list is my husband, my family, my home, and my sweet baby girl growning in my belly! Right now I am sitting on the couch with Mr. by a fire and our fresh Christmas tree. Smells so delicious in here! Did some shopping today and I will probably do some more tomorrow. LOVE this time of year! Hope you are all enjoying it as much as I am :)
